Arriving in Mexico & Day 2!
We arrived in Mexico safely and ready for an amazing week ahead of us.  God really showed Himself as we were making our way across the border when half of the group was split up not knowing what direction they were going.  We met a family on a the road that was going the same direction we were and took us all the way to the house we are staying at.

Today was amazing, but it was also a very touching day. Before we left the building site a group of four of us went on a prayer walk. On this prayer walk we walked around and if we saw anything or anyone who we felt needed prayer, we silently prayed for them. As we walked around we would talk to some of the kids and give them bracelets. When we handed them a bracelet their faces lit up and you could see  how much a tiny thing could change their day. They couldn't stop thanking us and it was amazing to see them smile and be so appreciative. -Lindsey Chan

Everyday in America I would wake up and make my own breakfast and I could walk down the hall to use the bathroom. Today where I went to help, I had to walk down the street to go to the bathroom, and it was disgusting. The toliet was a just a box and the seat was in the shape of a toliet seat and bugs and spiders were all around, no flushing. It made me greatful for the little things I have at home, such as a toilet. I also learned how to correctly hammer and it was exciting learning something new. I can't wait for tommorrow!! -Carina Renteria
