So, I just got back from a great night of service with the Justlove team at the COC.
We were able to pray for the people in the community of Antioch, sit with them while we worshiped and listened to the sermon, and then got to serve them a meal and talk to them and eat together. The people who run this place do this every week Monday-Friday. That's A LOT!
For those of you who have been there now, you know that has got to take a lot of commitment.
Something happened tonight where they didn't have a speaker and one of the leaders had to teach on the spot. We were asked if any of us wanted to say something or share our testimony but none of us were ready-but shouldn't we have been?
As a follower of Christ I need to be confident in what I believe and be able to tell anyone. If I am in God's Word daily, praying to Him daily, walking with the Lord DAILY, then sharing my testimony would be a piece of cake!
I guess what I'm really getting at is the fact that when Jesus brings those opportunities that we pray so desperately for we need to make sure we're ready. That's how the speaker tonight was able to give an amazing message on a moment's notice because this is his life-Jesus is his life.
Just take a second and think about your own life-are you living for you or for Jesus?

It's a great chance to actually meet and hang out with people!
2. Baptisms are on March 6th! If you are considering this next step in your faith to proclaim to your friends and family that you are following Jesus. Please let one of us leaders know and we can make this happen! Pray about it!
3. We are going to Haiti this summer! Don't miss out on this opportunity!!!

4. COC this Tuesday, March 1st! We are meeting at 4pm at the Town Center. We will be back at 7:30pm! This is a fun opportunity to get to know the people in our own community and serve them a meal.
5. Service Tuesday on March 15th! We will be cleaning the Town Center to support our church staff and serve them! This will be from 2-4pm!
